On 2/18/25 the last injunction to BOI filing was stayed and the new deadline is 3/21/25. There is still a chance through Congress that it could be moved to 1/1/26, however, we highly recommend any businesses who have not yet complied do so as soon as possible. In the meantime to all business clients with employees or contractors do not forget about the important deadline to file 1099 and W2 forms is 1/31. The IRS posted an update here which includes a free tool to file your own 1099 forms. As always, we can assist preparation and e-filing these forms for a small fee.
